Philippe Quaglia

Philippe Quaglia is an experienced environment project manager at Genève Aéroport since September 2005, focusing on the development and implementation of a mobility plan for the airport platform and monitoring air quality. Prior to this role, Philippe served as a research scientist at The Maia Institute from September 2000 to August 2005, where responsibilities included establishing methodologies for experimental parameter collection for pedestrian crowd simulation calibration and conducting measurement campaigns in major cities worldwide. Philippe's academic background includes being a research scientist in the Lidar group at the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) from September 1997 to July 2000, where Philippe led the laboratory in the absence of its director, and an optronic engineer at Spacebel from May 1996 to July 1997, focusing on multi-spectral detection systems for Meteosat satellite testing. Philippe holds a Ph.D. in physics from Pierre and Marie Curie University, an engineering degree in optronic from ENSSAT, and a technology diploma in electrical engineering from Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1.
