Fanta K. Toure is an experienced professional in social protection and program management, currently serving as the Girls First Fund Director at Geneva Global since June 2019. Prior to this role, Fanta held various positions at The World Bank, including Sr. Social Protection Specialist and Operations Officer, from June 2009 to May 2019. Additional experience includes serving as a Program Officer at American Jewish World Service from September 2007 to June 2009, and as an Operations Officer at Adeso from May 2003 to May 2007. Fanta's educational background includes a Master's degree from Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Affairs from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
