Dr. Ruby Schoen is a highly experienced and accomplished healthcare professional with a diverse background in nursing and healthcare leadership roles. With a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree in progress, Dr. Schoen's extensive experience includes roles as a Clinical Education Specialist, Nurse Practitioner, Medical Director, Associate Medical Director, and Board Member in various healthcare organizations. Dr. Schoen's expertise lies in providing comprehensive health care to patients in long term care facilities and transitional rehab units, managing acute and chronic disease conditions, and end of life planning and care. Additionally, Dr. Ruby has a strong background in nursing education, staff development, and telehealth services.

While well intentioned, these practices are as likely to harm as to help — with serious consequences for patients’ wellbeing and quality of life. Genevive is changing the outlook. By applying the best medical knowledge with compassion and respect, our model has been shown to improve lives and health outcomes. From recruiting to training to service delivery, we are raising the standard of accountability for geriatric providers in Minnesota and beyond. To us, this work is a privilege.
