Lina Varela has had a varied and successful career in the field of marketing. Lina began their career in 2009 as a Marketing Intern for Unilever in the Dressings - Foods Division. Lina then held roles as a Market Development Specialist for Dressings, Savoury, and Spreads and Beverages Category. In 2015, they joined Sanofi as a Product Manager in the Vitamins Minerals and Supplements Category and Consumer Health Care Digital Leader. During their time at Sanofi, they designed and implemented marketing strategies and campaigns, supported medical promotion teams, and led new product launches. In 2017, they joined i-Health, Inc., a Division of DSM, where they held roles as a Marketing Consultant, Global Brand Manager for Culturelle Innovation, Brand Manager for Women's Health Category, and Associate Brand Manager for Women's Health Category. Currently, they are a Brand Manager Consultant for Genexa, a position they have held since 2022.
Lina Varela has a diverse education history. In 2009, they completed a Major in Management at the University of Houston. From 2006 to 2010, they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Marketing/Marketing Management, General from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. Lina then completed two Masters Degrees, one in Dirección de Marketing from Colegio de Estudios Superiores de Administración in 2015, and another in Marketing y Gestión Comercial from ESIC Business & Marketing School in 2015. Finally, in 2020, they completed an AMI Classroom Assistant Primary 3-6 from Montessori Training Center Northeast.
