Bobie Tanaka has held a variety of roles in the tech industry since 2010. In 2010, they were an Advertising Manager at Refrez, where they consulted with clients to improve market share and sales, and gathered and organized information to help with decision-making. At the same time, they were also an IT Support Technician at Yayasan Pendidikan Kristen Gloria Surabaya, where they installed and configured computer hardware, operating systems, and applications. In 2011, they founded and owned Flashpulsa, a website and android app that simplifies the process of recharging cellular credit, data packages, and PLN tokens. In 2012, they worked as a Social Media Analyst at Xarir. In 2016, they became a Technical Support Specialist at SUTINDO Group, where they provided answers to clients by identifying problems, researching answers, and guiding clients through corrective steps. Finally, in 2020, they joined Geniebook as a Senior Technical Support Engineer.

Bobie Tanaka attended St. Louis from 2007 to 2010, studying Computer and Network Engineering. Additionally, they obtained the CCNA certification from Cisco.
