John Su

John Su is the current Lead Bioinformatician at GenieUs Genomic. Prior to this, they were the CTO at Shenzhen Tikon Gene Biotech Co., Ltd. from March 2016 to July 2018. Before that, they were the Director of Translational Health Research Team at BGI from December 2009 to March 2016.

John has extensive experience in developing machine learning algorithms and software for a variety of purposes, including predicting disease risk, copy number variation detection, personal genome interpretation, TCR and BCR repertoire analysis, and Mendelian disorder causative gene identification. John has also performed bioinformatic analysis on over 20 Mendelian disorder pedigrees for disease gene identification.

John Su has a Doctor of Philosophy from UNSW in Bioinformatics and a Bachelor of Science from Wuhan University in Life Science and Technology.

John Su works with Lara Dragasevich - Project Manager, Graeme Moore - Head of Regulatory Affairs, Platform, and Sam Brennan - Research Lead. Their manager is Matt Keon, CEO.
