TJ Puls, PhD

TJ Puls, PhD, has a diverse work experience that has spanned various roles and industries. Most recently, they have been working as a Product Development Manager at GeniPhys since July 2019. Prior to this, TJ worked at Purdue University from 2013 to 2019, where they served as a Postdoctoral Researcher and Graduate Research Assistant. TJ also participated in the NSF I-Corps Program as an Entrepreneurial Lead in 2018 and the NSF Regional I-Corps Program as an Entrepreneurial Lead in 2017. TJ started their career as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Colorado School of Mines from 2012 to 2013. Additionally, they gained valuable experience as a Research Fellow at NIST in 2011, where they managed TRC Tables and improved data extraction processes. TJ Puls, PhD, completed their education in the field of engineering and biomedical sciences. TJ obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Chemical Engineering with a Minor in Bioengineering and Life Sciences from the Colorado School of Mines, which they attended from 2009 to 2013. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biomedical Engineering at Purdue University, where they were enrolled from 2013 to 2017. Additionally, TJ Puls obtained a certification in the Applied Management Principles Program from Purdue Krannert Executive Education Programs.
