Chaz Rainey has extensive work experience in various legal and business roles. Currently, they serve as the Executive Vice President and Head of Business and Legal Affairs at Kartoon Studios (TOON). Prior to this, they worked at Hamrick & Evans, LLP, where they held the positions of Of Counsel and Equity Partner. Chaz has also served as a member of the Board of Directors at Stan Lee Universe, Stan Lee Global Entertainment, LLC, and The Bill Nye Science Foundation. Chaz Rainey was the Managing Partner at Rainey Legal Group PLLC and worked as an In-House Counsel at William Hill. Chaz started their career as a Summer Associate at Greenberg Traurig and served as a Doctoral Research Assistant at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, William S. Boyd School of Law. Additionally, Chaz Rainey gained valuable experience as a Legislative Extern at the United States Senate.

Chaz Rainey has a diverse education history spanning multiple fields. They obtained a Master of Laws (LLM) degree in International Law and Legal Studies from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in 2015. In 2023, they are expected to earn a Certificate in Computer Science from Harvard University.

In terms of legal education, Chaz Rainey earned a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from the William S. Boyd School of Law, University of Nevada-Las Vegas in 2007.
