Ron Knight has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Ron currently holds the role of Head of Programming at Kartoon Studios, where they oversee the programming for the Kartoon Channel Intl. Prior to this, Ron worked at Knight Entertainment Group - KMI Presents, where they served as the Business Affairs Manager. In this role, they were responsible for representing and managing various shows, tours, and licensed brands. Ron also served as the Principal and Senior Representative at KEG Trade World Ltd, where they offered specialty funding financial solutions. Before that, they were the President of Knight Mediacom, where they focused on digital multimedia production and distribution. Ron also had experience as the President of Chapala.TV, where they operated a web streaming service. Additionally, they worked as a Senior Sales Agent at Your Family Entertainment, representing entertainment licensing and programming sales. Ron also served as the President and Partner of Global Entertainment Media Markets, Inc., and founded the Broadcasters Webcasting Institute. Ron started their career as a Facilitator, Coach, and Speaker, and had a voice over role as well.

Ron Knight attended Anaheim High for their high school education. After graduating high school, they went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, Broadcasting, and Music from California State University, Long Beach in 1976. In 1978, they obtained a Graduate Certification in Broadcast Production, On Air, and Programming from LA Broadcasters. Ron Knight then pursued further education and earned Master's credits in various fields. Ron completed coursework in Film Syndication Broadcast Properties at UCLA in 1985-1986, Television Properties Distribution at the University of Southern California in 1986-1987, and Music: Motion Picture Soundtrack and Scoring at New York University in 2001.
