Brent Arias

Brent Arias is currently the CTO at Genius Ventures. Brent has previously worked as a Sr. Software Architect at ClickSquared, Inc. from May 2011 to March 2012, where they were in charge of technical oversight for web and DB development for a department of fifty spread across four offices, including the UK. Brent also provided architectural oversight for a generic, stream-driven C# component pipeline used for data transfer and transformation (to replace SSIS). Additionally, they designed and implemented a T-SQL/SSIS rules engine for bank account operations and marketing.

Arias has also worked as Software Architect at AxisCode and Lumension Security. At Lumension Security, they held various positions such as design lead for internationalization efforts, technical lead for requirements, design, and implementation for public release of three enterprise security applications, among others. Brent was also in charge of building the platform detection (MFC, C++, x86 assembler), core logic (C#, SQL, SOAP), and interop / reuse packages (UML, COM, IJW, Java). Furthermore, they designed the recursive software package dependency database.

Brent Arias has a BS in Computer Science from The University of New Mexico.
