Vijay Madan

Vijay Madan is the current Director at GENLEAP. Vijay has also served as the Secretary to the Government of India from September 2015 to August 2016. Prior to that, they were the Additional Director General at the Archaeological Survey of India from April 2007 to November 2008. Vijay was also responsible for Economic Policy at the Air Transport Bureau of ICAO from January 2001 to November 2002. From August 1993 to September 1999, they represented India on the council of ICAO. Additionally, they have served as the Additional Secretary and Financial Advisor at the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion from July 2012 to March 2013, and as the Joint Secretary at the Government of India, Ministry of Culture from January 2008 to June 2012. Their most recent position before joining GENLEAP was as the Secretary-cum-Commissioner Transport at the Government of Delhi from May 2005 to October 2006.

Vijay Madan's educational career began with him completing their higher secondary education at Modern School in New Delhi. Vijay then went on to study for a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at Maulana Azad Medical College, also located in New Delhi.
