Kyra Edwards

Kyra Edwards is a data scientist and statistical consultant with extensive experience in genetic analysis and healthcare algorithm bias reduction. Currently employed at Genletics and HealthTech Build, Kyra has previously served as the Social Media Manager for British Rowing, where the Instagram account was grown significantly. As a professional athlete, Kyra is a member of the Great Britain Rowing Team and a World Cup Silver Medalist, preparing for the Paris 2024 Olympics. Kyra's academic credentials include a Master's in Statistics from UCL and ongoing pursuit of a PhD in Health Data Science at the University of Oxford, complemented by research fellow experience focused on women's health and prior research assistant work at UCLA, where significant findings in brain fluid metabolite analysis were presented.
