Akemi Komura

Akemi Komura currently serves as the Japan Development Team Leader (Project Leader) at Genmab since March 2022. Previously, Akemi held the role of Project Manager at AbbVie from June 2020 to February 2022, and worked as a Project Leader/Project Manager at Celgene from January 2015 to May 2020. Earlier experience includes various positions at AstraZeneca from September 2005 to December 2014, including Study Leader and Clinical Research Associate (CRA) roles in Clinical Operations and R&D. Akemi holds an MBA in Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts Lowell (2017-2019), a Master of Science in Biology from Ochanomizu University (2001-2003), and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Ochanomizu University (1997-2001).
