Hisham Hamadeh

Hisham Hamadeh has a diverse work experience in the field of data science and AI. Hisham is currently serving as the Senior Vice President and Global Head of Data Science & AI at Genmab since April 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Genmab as the Vice President and Global Head of Data Science from September 2018 to April 2023. Before joining Genmab, Hisham worked at Amgen for several years, holding various roles. From June 2017 to June 2020, they served as part of the Strategy & Innovation team. Prior to that, they worked in the Computational & Predictive Safety department from March 2009 to September 2018. Hisham also has experience at Amgen as a Principal Scientist from 2006 to 2009 and as a Senior Scientist from June 2002 to June 2006. Hisham began their career as a Scientist at NIEHS in 1999.

Hisham Hamadeh began their educational journey by earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Physics from the American University of Beirut, which they attended from 1992 to 1995. Hisham then pursued further education and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Toxicology from the University of California, Irvine, where they studied from 1995 to 1999. Later, Hisham attended the Wharton School of Business from 2013 to 2015 and successfully completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Business.
