Imke Wijnen

Imke Wijnen is a Junior Scientist at MIMETAS since August 2022, following experience as a Research Intern at Leiden University Medical Center in various departments, including Immunology and Biomedical Data Sciences. Notable projects include combinatorial targeting of co-stimulatory receptors to shape CD8+ T cell responses and studying fibronectin's role in osteoarthritis pathophysiology. Wijnen holds a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Leiden University and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences, having actively participated in student governance and committees during academic years.
