Melissa Carreno

Melissa Carreno is an experienced healthcare professional currently serving as the Associate Director of Field Reimbursement at Genmab since January 2023. Previously, Melissa held various leadership roles at Bayer, including Director of Oncology Field Reimbursement Managers and Field Reimbursement Manager, where recognition included the 2017 Pinnacle Award for FRM of the Year and the 2015 FRM Leadership Award for Oncology. With a strong foundation in managed care, reimbursement policies, and oncology products, Melissa has successfully educated healthcare providers on payer coverage for drugs such as Xofigo and Nexavar. Prior roles included Regional Business Manager at Algeta ASA and Executive Oncology Consultant at Dendreon, focusing on the commercialization of innovative oncology therapies. Melissa earned a B.S. in Biochemistry from Indiana State University in 1996.
