Peter Louwagie

Peter Louwagie is an accomplished executive in corporate development and business strategy, currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Corporate Development/M&A & BD&L at Genmab since February 2024. Prior experience includes a significant tenure at Novartis from March 2011 to February 2024, where leadership roles encompassed Head of Business Development & Licensing in Immunology and Neuroscience, as well as Senior Director of Mergers & Acquisitions. Louwagie's background includes financial management positions focused on supporting mergers, acquisitions, in-licensing, and divestitures. Earlier roles at UCB involved directing the Mergers & Acquisitions department and leading the IFRS Competence Center, while prior roles at Utopia Group and PricewaterhouseCoopers emphasized finance and tax expertise.
