Venu Bommireddy, Ph.D.

Venu Bommireddy, Ph.D. has held a number of positions in the biotechnology and research fields since 2005. Venu began as a Post-Doctoral Fellow at HHMI (Howard Hughes Medical Institute), Rutgers University in 2005. Venu then moved to ACTREC (Cancer Research Institute) in 2013, where they served as a Research Investigator (Wellcome Trust/DBT intermediate fellow). In 2015, they joined Genesis Biotechnology Group, ONCOVEDA Cancer Research Center as a Research Scientist. In 2018, they became a Team Leader at Genesis Biotechnology Group. In 2021, they moved to Prelude Therapeutics as a Principal Scientist and in 2022 they were appointed Director at Gennao Bio.

Venu Bommireddy, Ph.D. began their education in 1999, when they earned their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biochemistry from ACTREC, University of Mumbai. From 2005 to 2013, they were a Post-doctoral Fellow at HHMI, Rutgers University. In 2016, they completed a Mini-MBA in BioPharma Innovation from Rutgers Business School.
