Co-Founder at Genomawork

Robert Cercós has a diverse work experience. From 2016 to present, they have been a Co-Founder of Spike, a company that helps organizations get the most out of their data. The company was acquired by Bain & Company in February 2022. Robert is also a Member of the Regional Council for Science, Technology, Knowledge and Innovation for the Gobierno Regional de los Rios since 2022. From 2019 to present, they have been a Co-Founder of Genomawork, a platform designed to hire the best talent. From 2016 to present, they have been a Lecturer at the Universidad Austral de Chile. From 2016 to present, they have been the Deputy Director of El Finde, a program that promotes entrepreneurship in higher education students in the Los Ríos region. From 2006 to 2016, they were a Lecturer and Teacher Assistant at the Universidad de Chile. From 2008 to 2016, they were the LANPASS Operations and Project Manager at LAN Airlines, leading the LANPASS Operations & Projects Team and managing systems monitoring and Database operations. Additionally, from 2005 to present, they have been a music producer and guitarist for various artists and bands.

Robert Cercós obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Interaction Design from RMIT University between 2013 and 2016. Prior to this, they completed a Master of Information Systems in Management Information Systems, General from the University of Melbourne in 2013. Robert also obtained an Industrial Engeneering degree from Universidad de Chile between 2001 and 2007, with a focus in Management & Information Technology.
