Nicole Chai

Nicole Chai is an R&D Bioinformatician at Genomics England since March 2023, previously working as a Bioinformatician at Odyssey Therapeutics from March 2022 to January 2023. Prior experience includes serving as a Foundation Doctor at North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust in late 2021, and a Research Intern at Newcastle University, where engagement in the EU Horizon 2020 project REPO-TRIAL occurred in 2019. Nicole began a career in research as a Summer Researcher at the Northern Institute for Cancer Research in 2017. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and a Master's degree in Bioinformatics, both from Newcastle University. Nicole's foundational education was completed at Shanghai American School.
