Ed Lamprecht

Ed Lamprecht is an experienced tax professional with a robust career spanning several leading companies in the energy and consulting sectors. Currently serving as the Managing Director of Tax at GenOn Energy since January 2019, Ed previously held the position of Senior Director of Tax at Dynegy from December 2004 to October 2018. Prior experience includes roles as Tax Manager at Encompass Services Corporation, and Senior Tax Consultant positions at both Arthur Andersen and Sonat. Ed holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Iowa, earned between 1988 and 1992.
