David Markovitz is currently a Data Engineering Lead (AVP) at Genpact, where they work with leading companies in Israel to enhance their data infrastructure using the Azure data platform. David previously served as a Senior Software Engineer at Microsoft and as a Big Data Application DBA at PayPal, where they supported analysts and developed a global Teradata UDF library. Earlier in their career, David led the SQL team at HOT and developed a new data warehouse architecture as an Analytics Platform Architect at Pontis. David earned a B.Sc. in Computer Science from Haifa University.
