Hira Ismail

Hira Ismail is a dedicated mental health professional currently serving as a Group Therapist at GenPsych PC since October 2023. Previously, Hira worked as a Counselor Intern at High Focus Centers, where skills in intake appointments, process groups, and treatment plan formation were developed. Hira applied Dialectical Behavior Therapy techniques in therapy sessions to enhance clients' emotional regulation and mindfulness skills. Hira's earlier experience includes roles as a Cyber Security Intern and Qlik Sense Developer at the United Nations, as a Marketing Account Executive at Verizon, and various positions in educational and healthcare settings. Hira holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Rider University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Rutgers University - Newark.
