Brooks Morelock is a Design Director at Gensler’s New York office, specializing in complex workplace projects that integrate design and strategy for prominent companies. With expertise in various sectors including tech and media, Brooks leverages a systems-based thinking approach to deliver innovative, award-winning designs, such as Google’s New York headquarters. Brooks previously served as Co-Chair of Education for IIDA NY, mentoring over 300 interior designers and supporting the next generation in achieving licensure. Recognized as an “Ones to Watch” Scholar by the American Society of Interior Designers in 2019, Brooks currently contributes to the selection committee for future Scholars, promoting opportunities for LGBTQIA+ and minority designers. Brooks earned a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Tennessee and studied at Columbia University.
