Mitch brings over 30 years of commercial, technical and operation experience in highly-engineered materials and component manufacturing to our Industrials investments.
Most recently, Mitch served as President and CEO of Boyd Corporation, previously a Genstar Portfolio investment, a market leader in thermal and engineered materials solutions to a diversified market including the mobile & enterprise electronics, medical, aerospace, defense, transportation and industrial sectors.
Under his 20+ years of leadership, the company grew from 4 US facilities and $40M in revenue to 27 facilities operating in 13 countries and $1B+ in revenue. During Mitch’s tenure, the company completed 14 total transactions including 4 highly-successful private equity exits. Each and every exit resulted in a MOIC of greater than 4X.
With experience in platform, tuck-in, corporate carve out and large-scale transformational acquisition diligence and post-close synergy execution, Mitch has a solid track record of new value creation through M&A. Additionally, he has extensive experience in strategic planning around go-to-market, new product development, efficient supply chain and lean manufacturing.
