Avery Nelson, III

Avery (Hal) Nelson III is senior vice president and general manager, Automotive. In this role, Nelson has end-to-end responsibilities for the Automotive Market-Access Platform, which includes Corning Environmental Technologies (CET) and Automotive Glass Solutions (AGS). Nelson also has responsibility for identifying and developing new products and business opportunities in automotive-related markets.

Nelson joined Corning in 1991 as a shift supervisor at the Harrodsburg, Kentucky plant and subsequently served in progressive roles in Corning Display Technologies.
