Edward A. Schlesinger

Edward Schlesinger was elected executive vice president and chief financial officer in February 2022. Schlesinger is the chief steward of Corning’s financial health, overseeing the Finance and Investor Relations functions.

From February 2019 to February 2022, Schlesinger was senior vice president and corporate controller, responsible for leading the Corporate Accounting, Compliance, and External Reporting functions; the corporate-wide reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and planning processes; M&A finance; Corporate Shared Services function; and Workplace Services. Schlesinger was elected vice president and corporate controller in September 2015 and principal accounting officer in December 2015.
