Scott Heerema

Scott Heerema has extensive experience in public service and facility management. Currently serving as a Reserve Police Officer at Zeeland Police Department since January 2016, Scott also holds the position of Director of Corporate Facilities at Gentex Corporation, where strategic facility management is a key responsibility. Scott’s role encompasses long-range planning, real estate, architectural design, and budgeting. Additionally, as a Fire Captain for Park Township since 1999, Scott plays a critical role in overseeing fire department activities and personnel safety. Previously, Scott worked as a Project Manager at The Christman Company, focusing on construction management and bid solicitation. Scott holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Ferris State University, obtained in 1994.
