Kok Loon Wong

Kok Loon WONG has an extensive work experience in the field of regulatory compliance, risk management, and audit. Kok Loon currently holds the position of Vice President, Regulatory Compliance, Risk Management & Insurance Management at Resorts World Genting since January 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President, Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management at the same company from April 2020. Before joining Resorts World Genting, they were the Vice President - Regulatory Compliance at the company from September 2015 to April 2020.

Before their roles at Resorts World Genting, Kok Loon WONG worked at Royal Bank of Scotland as the Country Head of Audit from February 2011 to August 2015.

Kok Loon WONG began their career at EY in 2000 and held various positions. Kok Loon worked as a Senior Manager from March 2008 to February 2011, where they audited banking and capital market clients and was involved in several IPOs. Kok Loon was also an Audit Manager, both at EY's London office and in Malaysia, from August 2006 to February 2008. During this time, they audited a UK listed group, real estate funds, and hospitality clients. Prior to that, they had roles as Audit Assistant Manager, Audit Senior, and Audit Associate.

Kok Loon Wong holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in General Management from The International Islamic University Malaysia, which they completed from 2002 to 2005. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) degree in Accounting and Finance from Monash University, which they completed from 1996 to 1999. Wong also has a certification from CPA Australia.
