Christian Olesen

Christian Olesen is a seasoned professional in architecture and heritage, currently serving as Senior Advisor in architecture and heritage at Gentofte Council since October 1998, where responsibilities include promoting high-quality urban design and providing cross-sectional advisory at the administrative level. In addition, Christian Olesen has been active as a censor in the joint censor corps for higher artistic education since October 2018 and is a member of the Academic Architects Association's expert panel since January 2011. Previous experience includes ownership of Arkitektgruppen Gentofte from 1995 to 1998 and architectural roles at various firms from 1992 to 1995. Educational credentials include a postgraduate master's degree in architectural heritage from the Nordic Master program (2007-2009) and a degree from KADK - Kunstakademiets Arkitektskole (1987-1993), along with earlier studies in building technology and baccalaureate in mathematics/science.
