Yuchen Xia

Yuchen Xia has a wealth of experience in the finance industry. In 2009, they began their career as a Portfolio Manager at BlackRock, where they managed outcome-oriented investing solutions and large-scale portfolio restructurings for institutional clients in EMEA. In 2015, they moved to Moneyfarm as a Senior Portfolio Manager. In 2017, Xia founded New Horizon Global. In 2018, they became Co-Founder/Director/COO of Genuine Impact, the modern investment research app, and a Board Member of Qu Biologics Inc. In 2021, Xia became an Angel Investor & Board Member for Train Effective. Finally, in 2022, they were appointed Board Member at Spectrum-Canada Mortgage Services Inc.

Yuchen Xia obtained a MMath in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Oxford between 2006 and 2010. In September 2010, they obtained an Investment Management Certificate from CFA UK. In November 2005, they received two Gold Awards from the UK Mathematics Trust for the UK Senior Maths Challenge. In October 2020, they obtained four certifications from the Financial Conduct Authority (SMF1, SMF3, SMF16, and SMF17). Yuchen is also an ACSI from The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (The CISI).
