Carlene Bruton (O'Keefe)

Carlene Bruton (O'Keefe) has a diverse work experience in UX design. Carlene is currently working as a Senior UX Designer at Genvid Holdings Inc. since September 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Pocket Gems where they held various roles including Staff UX Designer from July 2020 to September 2022, Senior UX Designer from January 2019 to July 2020, and UX Designer from May 2018 to January 2019.

Before their time at Pocket Gems, Carlene worked at HARMAN International as a UX Designer from November 2015 to April 2018. During their time there, they worked on internal future projects and shippable client projects, including the redesign of a single-screen HMI into a dual-screen HMI and the development of a future car concept for CES 2018.

Prior to HARMAN International, Carlene worked at Gaia Interactive as a UI/UX Designer from April 2015 to October 2015, where they focused on the design of a mobile social application called Unravel. Additionally, they worked at Rumble as a UX Designer from November 2014 to April 2015, where they primarily worked on the mobile game Nightmare Guardians and also did some UX/UI work on Kingsroad mobile.

Carlene's earliest work experience includes a role as a UX Designer at Vertigo Software from September 2012 to October 2014, and a position as a Research and Development Analysis/Design Intern at Aaron Marcus and Associates from May 2011 to August 2011. At Aaron Marcus and Associates, they worked on mobile application projects, conducting market research, competitive analysis, and designing information architectures, icons, wireframes, and sketches. One of the projects they worked on, The Money Machine, won the IID Awards for 2011 in the Financial sector.
