Peggy J. Lewis

Peggy J. Lewis, FSA, MAAA, is a seasoned actuary currently serving as Director & Actuary of Actuarial Statutory Reporting at Genworth since January 2017. Previously, Peggy held the position of Director and Associate Actuary III at Unum from January 2002 to April 2016, where responsibilities included leading the Appointed Actuary process, coordinating cash flow testing, actuarial opinions, and reports for regulatory compliance across various product lines, including group life and long-term care. Prior to Unum, Peggy worked at Provident Life and Accident Insurance Company/Unum Group from May 1997 to January 2002 as a Director and Associate Actuary, contributing to the Individual Disability Income modeling team and implementing processes for liability projection integration. Peggy holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics from Vanderbilt University.
