Carmen Alvarez has worked in a variety of roles since 1998. Carmen began their career as a Programmer at football.com, then moved to Homepage.com as a Client Integration Engineer. In 2000, they joined Lumos Technologies as a Software Engineer, and then moved to Micromuse as a Consultant. That same year, they also began working at Net.com as a Software Engineer and Consultant. In 2004, they became a Telecommunications Development Engineer at RATP, and then moved to Ariba as a Senior Consultant in 2006. In 2011, they returned to Genymobile as a Design and Development Engineer (Android), and then moved to Libon in 2018 as a Mobile Lead. Finally, in 2022, they returned to Genymobile as a Design and Development Engineer (Backend).
Carmen Alvarez completed a Master of Science in Computer Science at Université de Montréal from 2003 to 2004. Prior to this, they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona from 1998 to 2000. From 1994 to 1998, they earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the same university.
