David Morris (he/him/his)

David Morris, PhD (he/him/his) has a diverse work experience. David currently holds the position of Associate Director, Product Marketing at SEKISUI Diagnostics, starting in June 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Manager, Product Management at Thermo Fisher Scientific from January 2023 to June 2023. At SEKISUI Diagnostics, they held various roles including Senior Manager, Product Marketing from August 2022 to January 2023, Principal Product Manager from April 2021 to September 2022, and Senior Product Manager from July 2019 to April 2021. Before joining SEKISUI Diagnostics, they worked at BioGX where they were the Global Marketing Manager from January 2019 to July 2019, Product Manager from January 2017 to January 2019, and Product Support Specialist from January 2016 to January 2017. Prior to their industry experience, they worked at the University of Alabama at Birmingham as a Graduate Assistant from August 2009 to December 2014 and as the Treasurer of the Graduate Student Government from June 2011 to May 2014. David also worked at Seattle Cancer Care Alliance as a Clinical Technologist II from November 2006 to August 2009. Throughout their career, they have gained expertise in product marketing, product management, global marketing, and scientific research.

David Morris, PhD, obtained their Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from the University of Washington between 2001 and 2006. Following this, they pursued higher education at the University of Alabama at Birmingham from 2009 to 2015, where they conducted research in Microbiology and earned their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree.
