Karel Dieussaert

Karel Dieussaert is a seasoned solution architect and Geo-ICT consultant with extensive experience in Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Since October 2010, Karel has been contributing to GEO Solutions as a GIS consultant and solution architect. Prior to this role, Karel worked at SADL, KU Leuven from October 2007 to October 2010, focusing on GIS consulting and development, including the creation of an agent-based model for urban parking searches. Karel also served as a scientific researcher at M3 BIORES, KU Leuven from January 2007 to September 2007, where the emphasis was on the development and data management of the GesKas model aimed at exploring closed greenhouse capabilities with adaptive internal climates. Karel holds a Bio Engineer degree in Land and Forest Management from KU Leuven, earned between 2001 and 2006, and completed secondary education at Sint-Jan Berchmanscollege in Genk from 1996 to 2001.
