Philippe van de Vreken

Philippe Van De Vreken is an accomplished Esri GIS Specialist at GEO Solutions, where responsibilities include enhancing the ArcGIS Enterprise environment for the Port of Antwerp Bruges. Previously, Philippe held various positions at SIGGIS, including GIS architect, project leader for support and training, and GIS consultant, managing installations and upgrades for clients in Belgium and abroad. Philippe also has a strong research background as a PhD student at VITO/KULeuven, focusing on the impact of land use on soil organic carbon stocks. Additional research experience includes significant projects at SADL and Klimaatpark Arenberg, concentrating on water management, soil quality, and climate change adaptation in agriculture. Philippe holds degrees in agricultural engineering from KU Leuven and bio-engineering sciences from Universiteit Antwerpen.
