Pete Maltese

Vice-president Of Field Operations at Geo-Solutions

Pete holds a degree in Civil Engineering and has over 25 years of experience in the environmental construction industry. Pete is a shareholder of Geo-Solutions working out of the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania office. He has held various positions that helped him advance his career to Vice President. His current responsibilities include marketing, estimating, supervising and managing projects for the company including all types of slurry walls, soil mixing, grouting, and related geotechnical specialty techniques.

Pete has actively participated in the installation of some of the largest slurry wall projects completed in the United States. He has been responsible for the successful installation of over 4 million square feet of various types of slurry walls. He was also responsible for the construction of a permanent excavation support system using Deep Soil Mixing (DSM) to allow for excavation of a cut and cover highway tunnel underpass through a historic district with no disturbances to the adjacent homes. He was also involved with complex site remediation of 100,000 cubic yards (6-acre) sludge lagoon. The project involved the first large-scale use of in-situ stabilization of waste sludge.
