Erik Dihrkop has a diverse work experience in the chemical industry. Erik began their career at Sigma-Aldrich, where they worked as a Chemist, specializing in synthesizing stable isotope compounds and purifying them using various techniques. During their time there, Erik also served as a Sales Representative, successfully managing a sales territory and increasing sales by 18%.
In 2013, Erik transitioned to GEO Specialty Chemicals, Inc., where they held various leadership roles. Erik started as an Account Manager and later became the Global Sales Manager for the Specialty and Construction Division. In this role, Erik managed sales for a wide range of products and industries, including gypsum wallboard, concrete admix, oil and gas, ceramics, and agriculture.
Erik's expertise and leadership led to him being promoted to General Manager and then to Vice President and General Manager, where they oversaw the integration and supply chain operations for GEO Specialty Chemicals. Currently, Erik holds the position of Vice President - GEO Americas, leading the company's operations in the Americas region.
Erik Dihrkop has a Master of Science - MS degree in Organic Chemistry from Wright State University, which they completed from 2008 to 2010. Erik also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Chemistry from the same university, which they obtained from 2004 to 2008. Additionally, Erik completed the Primary Cementing 1 Course Completion at PetroSkills, and they have completed the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt course at Purdue University.
