Danny Wilson has a diverse work experience spanning from 2007 to 2022. In 2007, they worked as a Radiosurgery Research and Development Intern at Covidien. From 2008 to 2009, they worked as a High School Technology Teacher at Poudre School District and as an Aerospace Systems Design Engineer at Triumph Group. In 2010, they worked as a Fulbright Fellow and National Science Foundation Fellow at UC Berkeley. From 2015 to 2016, they worked as the Chief Technology Officer at Persistent Efficiency and as the Chief Technology Officer and IoT Engineer at Virridy. In 2016, they also worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow in Energy for Development at Berkeley Lab. Finally, from 2016 to 2022, they worked as the Cofounder and CEO at Geocene and will soon work as a Faculty at the University of California, Berkeley.

Danny Wilson has a diverse educational background. Danny obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Colorado State University between 2003 and 2008. Danny then attended University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business in 2011 and 2012 for the Management of Technology Program. From 2010 to 2012, they obtained a Masters of Science in Mechanical Engineering from University of California, Berkeley. Finally, they obtained their Ph.D. in Development Engineering from University of California, Berkeley in 2016. Additionally, Danny is a Licensed Teacher from the Colorado Department of Education.
