Fred Wright

Fred Wright has a diverse work experience starting as a Marketing Analyst at After Hours Formalwear in 2002. Fred then transitioned to the legal field, working as an Associate Attorney at Baker Donelson from 2006 to 2011. Subsequently, they served as the Senior Vice President and Corporate Counsel at BBVA in the USA from 2011 to 2021. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Commercial Counsel at GeoComply since May 2021, progressing to the role of Director - Commercial Legal in January 2023.

Fred Wright completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Georgia State University - J. Mack Robinson College of Business from 2000 to 2002, with a concentration in Decision Sciences. Fred then pursued a Doctor of Law (JD) at The University of Alabama School of Law from 2003 to 2006, where they also obtained a Juris Doctor degree. In 2021, Fred obtained the Certified Information Privacy Professional/United States (CIPPUS) certification from the IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals.
