Mariann Salomonsen has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Mariann began their career as an Administration Secretary at a Small Transport Company from 1997 to 1999. From 1999 to 2005, they worked at Sanofi-Synthelabo AS, a pharmaceutical company, where they gained experience in Logistics and Administration, including international reporting, production forecasts, payroll, and accounting. Mariann then worked as a Consultant in Payroll Accounting at VISMA Personnel AS from April to November 2005.

In 2005, Mariann became a Logistics Manager at Fujifilm Norway AS, focusing on upstream and downstream flows, purchasing from Asian suppliers, and warehousing and transport monitoring. From August 2006 to March 2008, they were a Customer Service and Purchasing Supervisor at Haakon Ellingsen AS, responsible for procurement for projects and storage requirements from European suppliers.

In 2008, Mariann worked as a Logistics Manager at Solarnor AS, where they were responsible for planning and establishing production and distribution of solar collectors. Mariann then joined IFS as a Business Consultant from September 2008 to August 2012, specializing in business advising, work process and system alignment, and strategic solution planning.

From September 2012 to May 2013, Mariann worked as a Partner and Senior Advisor at Align Consulting AS, and also served as a Board Member during that period. Mariann then joined Vitari AS in June 2013, where they held various roles including Project Manager, Project Team Manager, and Team Manager Development. Mariann'sresponsibilities included project management, team leadership, and development.

Most recently, Mariann joined Geodata AS in February 2021 as a Senior Project Manager.

Mariann Salomonsen began their education at the University of Bergen (UiB) in 2001, focusing on Work Psychology/Management. Mariann then attended BI Norwegian Business School from 2002 to 2006, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business communication, Coaching, and Logistics. Later, from 2007 to 2020, Mariann pursued their Master's degree in Management at BI Norwegian Business School, specializing in Supply Chain Management, Negotiations, International Management, and Project Management. Additionally, in 2014 and 2015, they attended Nesna University College to study Practical Project Management.
