Dr. Paul Berkowitz MD FAPA FACLP has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of psychiatry and behavioral health. Paul currently holds the position of Regional Medical Director and Psychiatrist, Medical Director at Geode Health. Prior to this, they served as the President of Behavioral Health Advisors, SC and as a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science.

Dr. Berkowitz has also held senior leadership roles at Ascension Mercy Medical Center Behavioral Health, Sinai Health System, Centegra Health System, Recovery Innovations, Scottsdale Healthcare, North Scottsdale Behavioral Health, and Maricopa Integrated Health System. Paul has served as Chairman and Medical Director, Chief Medical Officer/VP, Chairman, Medical Director of Behavioral Health, and Director of Inpatient Services during their tenure at these organizations.

Dr. Paul Berkowitz MD FAPA FACLP completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biology at the University of California, Davis from 1986 to 1990. Paul then attended Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science from 1990 to 1996, where they earned their M.D. degree in Medicine. Following this, Dr. Berkowitz completed their residency in Psychiatry at Emory University School of Medicine from 1996 to 1997 and Northwestern University - The Feinberg School of Medicine from 1997 to 2000.
