Maria Wood

Maria Wood has a comprehensive work experience, starting with their current role as the Governance & Supply Chain Director at Osborne since 2023. Prior to that, they were the Head of Procurement & Supply Chain from 2022 to 2023, and the Head of Procurement from 2019 to 2022, all within the same company. Before joining Osborne, Maria worked as a Senior Procurement Surveyor from 2017 to 2019 and as a Procurement Surveyor from 2015 to 2017. Maria also served as a Quantity Surveyor at Brookworth Homes from 2014 to 2015, and at Balfour Beatty plc, they held positions as a Quantity Surveyor from 2013 to 2014 and as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor from 2008 to 2013.

Maria Wood holds a Master of Science Degree (MSc) in Management & Leadership from Cranfield University, which they completed from 2019 to 2022. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree (BSc Hons) in Quantity Surveying from the University of Greenwich. Maria also completed their A-Levels in Psychology, British Politics, Sociology, and IT from Greenshaw High. Maria has additional certifications including CMgr FCMI from the Chartered Management Institute, MCIOB from The Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB), MCIPS from CIPS - The Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply, and a Pearson Level 6 Diploma in Construction Contracting Operations: Surveying.
