Jason Marshall

Jason Marshall is the GIS Director at Geographic Technologies Group. Jason has over 13 years of experience in the field of GIS and Open Data. Jason began their career as the Open Data Program Manager for the City of Greensboro in May 2005. In this role, they were responsible for developing and operationalizing an Open Data Policy, coordinating an Enterprise wide Data Leadership Team, and implementing, designing, administering, and managing the City of Greensboro’s Open Data Program ‘Open Gate City’. In January 2018, they left the City of Greensboro to join Geographic Technologies Group as the GIS Director. In this role, they are responsible for leading the GIS team and providing expert advice and guidance on the use of GIS technologies.
