Eugenio Maffione

Eugenio Maffione is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in software development, project management, and research. As the founder of GeoInference since July 2019, Eugenio has led the creation of innovative software solutions leveraging telemetry, sensors, and machine learning for territory management. Prior to this venture, Eugenio held several senior positions at Telecom Italia from 2000 to 2019, including NFV Senior Project Manager and Strategy & Innovation Program Manager, coordinating Virtual Network Function activities and designing network-enabled advertising solutions. Eugenio's earlier career includes roles at CSELT/TILAB as a Research & Development Project Manager, where contributions were made to multimedia services and content-based solutions, as well as experience as an EDP Consultant at Kompass Italia and as SW Engineering Manager at ArcData. Eugenio holds an MSc in Computer Science from Università degli Studi di Torino, complemented by language studies at Goethe Institut and a classical education at Liceo Classico Massimo D'Azeglio.
