Alona Nad is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Geological Survey of Finland (GTK) since April 2019, focusing on the automation and digitalization of GTK Mintec. Additionally, Alona serves as an Adjunct Associate Professor at AGH University of Science and Technology, teaching mineral processing. Previous experience includes roles as an Adjunct Associate Professor and Assistant Professor at the Institute of Non-Ferrous Metals in Gliwice, Poland, from October 2012 to April 2015, where Alona worked as a Process Engineer. Alona's expertise encompasses the beneficiation of Zn-Pb ore, sensor-based sorting techniques, coal washability, and the treatment of copper ore, alongside strong industrial and academic collaborations. Alona holds a PhD in Mineral Processing from AGH University of Krakow and two Master's degrees in the same field from AGH University of Krakow and Donietsk National Technical University.
