Colin Williams

Colin Williams has a diverse range of work experience spanning over a decade. Colin is currently employed at GeologicAI as a Geological Project Manager, where they oversee a sediment core lab and leads a team of geologists in delivering solutions to clients in the mining and oil and gas sector. Their responsibilities include project planning, execution, and delivery, managing budgets and timelines, and ensuring high-quality results. Prior to this, Colin worked at GeologicAI as a Geological AI Field Operator, handling and scanning client core data and ensuring data quality control. Before GeologicAI, Colin worked at CNOOC International as an Engineering Technologist, focusing on database maintenance and accessibility, as well as providing geological datasets for exploration purposes. Colin also provided support for troubleshooting software issues. Additionally, Colin gained experience in the oil and gas industry as a Geological Technologist at Husky Energy, where they collaborated with geologists and fellow technologists and honed their skills in various geological programs. Finally, Colin's early work experience includes a role as a Backshop Supervisor at Earl Grey Golf Club, where they provided assistance and coordinated events for golf course members.

Colin Williams pursued their education at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT). From 2014 to 2016, they completed a degree program in Geoscience information technology. Later, from 2016 to 2019, Colin obtained an Engineer's Degree with a focus on Petroleum Technology/Technician at SAIT.
