Eraklis Hristodoulou has a range of work experience in the field of geological sciences. Most recently, they have been working as a Research Assistant at Empire State of Mine LLC since 2022. Prior to that, they held the same position at GeologicAI in 2021, where they focused on geometallurgy research and the application of hyperspectral core scanning data sets in subsurface modeling. Eraklis was also a Teaching Assistant and Masters Student at Cornell University, studying Geological Sciences in the Earth and Atmospheric Sciences Department, under the guidance of Dr. Eraklis has also gained experience as a Geological and Engineering Technician at the American Rock Salt Company LLC from 2019 to 2021. Eraklis started their career as a Geological and Environmental Intern at the same company in 2017. In addition, Eraklis has worked as a Research Assistant and Field Assistant at SUNY Geneseo and Environmental Compliance Solutions Inc. respectively earlier in their career.

Eraklis Hristodoulou began their education by obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Geological Sciences from SUNY Geneseo in 2017. Following that, in 2021, they attended the Iceland School of Energy - Reykjavik University for a brief period to acquire a Renewable Energy Field Camp Certification in Renewable Energy Systems. Currently, from 2021 to 2023, Eraklis is pursuing a Master of Science (MS) degree in Geological and Earth Sciences/Geosciences at Cornell University.
