Max Peddlesden, P.Eng has a diverse work experience spanning from 2001 to the present. Max currently holds the role of Vice President of Operations at GeologicAI, where they oversee the company's operations. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Supply Chain Logistics at GeologicAI.
Before joining GeologicAI, Max worked at Cenovus Energy as a Program Manager from April 2021 to January 2022.
Max spent a significant portion of their career at Husky Energy, where they held various supply chain management roles. As a Sr. SCM Manager Capital Project Procurement, they were responsible for managing a team and overseeing capital project procurement for both green and brown field projects. Prior to this role, they served as a Sr. Supply Chain Manager, responsible for procurement strategy, supply chain innovation, and compliance programs. Max also worked as an SCM Manager, managing spend categories and leading cross-functional initiatives for departmental transformation. Max started their career at Husky Energy as a Category Manager.
Before joining Husky Energy, Max worked at Scope Consulting as a Strategic Sourcing Project Lead, where they led successful strategic sourcing initiatives and managed customer relationships.
Max began their career at Fluor Canada as a Sr. Contract Administrator, where they developed, negotiated, and administered contracts for module and piping fabrication. Max also coordinated vendor and design data and reviewed calculations and drawings.
Throughout their career, Max has demonstrated expertise in supply chain management, procurement, and strategic sourcing, contributing to the success of various organizations.
Max Peddlesden, P.Eng completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Calgary between 1997 and 2001. In addition to their formal education, Max has obtained several certifications throughout their career. These include the Bot Developer (A2019) certification from Automation Anywhere in February 2021, the Code Free Data Science certification from UC San Diego in February 2021, the Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification from Lean Six Sigma Canada in September 2018, and the Husky Strategic Sourcing Methodology (HSSM) certification from the International Institute for Advanced Purchasing and Supply (IIAPS) in February 2014.
